Eisai China has grown steadily since it entered the Chinese market in the early 1990s. Since 1991, Shenyang Weiya Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Eisai (Suzhou) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. have been established. In 2002, it was officially renamed as Eisai (China) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. With the development of China’s business, Eisai (Suzhou) Trading Co., Ltd. was established in 2010, and Eisai (China) Investment Co., Ltd. was established in 2014. In 2015, the company officially established Eisai through the acquisition of a local generic drug company. Liaoning) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
