Plan Remediar is a national plan under the ministry of health, and which operates within the framework of the National Drug Policy. The program works on the four phases of the management cycle: selection, procurement, distribution and use of drugs, in order to ensure access to the public health system. In addition to purchasing and distributing 79 different primary care medications to 7000 public health centers, the program is also responsible for the distribution materials for a variety of other national plans, including the national HIV/AIDS treatment program.
