PACIV, Inc. (Process Automation – Controls.Instruments.Validations) was founded and registered as a corporation in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in 1997 by Jorge L. Rodriguez. Prior to founding PACIV, Jorge had worked for over 9 years, in the industrial automation, instrumentation, and regulatory compliance field for major biopharmaceuticals in the United States and Puerto Rico. In 2003 Rick Straw entered into a partnership with Jorge and together they opened our PACIV-USA, LLC office located in Indiana meeting our clients’ desire for a local industrial automation and regulatory compliance solutions, support and standardization among their facilities. Prior to starting PACIV-USA, Rick had served for over 10 years, in the areas of automation and regulatory compliance, with a major biopharmaceutical company. Moreover, in 2007, Wayne Snelgrove, also an experienced process and regulatory compliance engineer with a major biopharmaceutical multinational, joined Jorge and Rick, to open PACIV-UK in Hampshire, England and in 2011 PACIV-Ireland in Cork, Ireland.
