As the hospital pertaining to the China Medical University, CMUH is committed to provide excellent medical services, clinical education and research, and the modernization of Chinese Medicine. CMUH’s seven goals include: (1) enhancement of total medical service quality; (2) development of holistic education in medicine and cultivation of medical talents; (3) localization and optimization of research environment by combining the CMU resources; (4) continual improvement of employee benefits and creation of quality work environment; (5) realization of the belief in ‘using what is taken from the society in the interest of the society’ and promotion of community preventive medicine, epidemic prevention, healthy city public health policies; (6) development of long-term care and geriatrics in response to the aging society and drawing up long-term care development strategy to enhance the quality of care for aging people; (7) Cross-Industry Cooperation to develop Biotechnology industrial park to devote medical research development related to human health and welfare.
