Its presence in Hong Kong – in the name of AstraZeneca Hong Kong – can be traced back to 1999 when AstraZeneca was formed following a merger of Astra AB of Sweden and Zeneca Group PLC of the UK. Both companies were established in Hong Kong in the 1970s.
AstraZeneca Hong Kong oversees both the Hong Kong and Macau markets and attaches a strong importance to them. Since our establishment, we have been focusing on identifying and bringing in the latest medical solutions as well as seeking ongoing business development.
