CMA Architects & Engineers LLC is an architecture and engineering firm serving Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, United States and Latin America since it started its operations in Puerto Rico in 1959. The firm expanded to become one of the largest in the Caribbean. It was ranked 496 in the ENR’s Top 500 U.S. Design Firms and 114 in ENR’s Top 200 International Firms in 2006.
The firm occupies its own building with 30,000sq. ft. of office space. The staff of over 100 full-time regular employees encompasses the fields of architecture, planning, construction management, civil, structural, environmental, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
CMA is an award winning firm with a staff that is active in several professional organizations and societies. Its members have authored more than fifty architecture and engineering publications. More than 20 percent of the professional staff hold professional licenses to practice in Puerto Rico, as well as in the states of Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas. The aggregate value of the construction cost of the projects designed by the firm exceeds 1.2 billion dollars.
